Bar Oorlam
Kalender checken!

The NØ land at Bar Oorlam! Hamburg legends who've been at it longer than most, with a sound that's entirely their own — ska and punk in their blood, mischief in their step, and a crowd that keeps coming back for more. It's loud, it's warm, it's a proper night out. So pour yourself something good, squeeze in close, and let The NØ do their thing. You in?
Sunday at Oorlam is board game day — and the whole idea is that you don't need to bring a full group. Love a game that none of your friends will play? This is where you find the people who will.
Bring your own favourite, grab a beer, and join a table — with regulars, with strangers, with whoever's up for it. We'll have some games on hand too, and if it feels right on the night we'll open up more tables so nobody's left waiting to play.
No sign-up, no pressure. Just turn up, sit down, and find your people over a good game and a better beer.

For Hamburg Beer Week, the Oorlam Cheese Club goes all-in on beer.
Cheese has been Nienke Oostra's craft for 15 years — running beer-and-cheese tastings and hand-importing wheels from small producers across Europe, the kind you won't find in a Hamburg shop. At Oorlam she brings that palate together with the craft beer the bar is built on: five cheeses, five beers chosen to match, each pairing built so the two lift each other. €15 per person, at the bar.
This is a getting-to-know edition — a first taste of a club that runs at Oorlam throughout the year. Come sit down, work your way through the five, and let Nienke talk you through where each cheese comes from and why it's paired the way it is. Reservations via Instagram DM; walk-ins always welcome.
This Thursday we're proud to host one of Hamburg's most renowned classics: the Kehrwieder Kreativbrauerei is giving a barrel aged beer tasting plus two beers on tap. One of Germany's original craft breweries — small, fiercely independent, multiple-award-winning, and named Hamburg's best brewer seven times, all still brewed by hand on 100% green power.
And there's something we love especially: like Oorlam, Kehrwieder is female-owned, led by Julia Wesseloh. Two women-run houses raising a glass together feels exactly right for Beer Week.
The Dutch are coming — and they're bringing the good stuff. Every year for Hamburg Beer Week we throw open our taps to Bax Bier from Groningen, and this year the crew is here in person again.
Bax have built their name on their IPAs — big, bright, seriously hopped, and with the kind of following that makes people plan their week around a fresh drop. Alongside them you'll find the more experimental, characterful stuff they love to play with.
For us this one's personal. Oorlam is a Dutch heart beating in Hamburg's craft scene, and having friends from home take over the bar for a night — same language, same love of good beer, same easygoing northern humour — is exactly what Beer Week is for. Come meet the people behind Bax, get talking, and raise a glass with us. Proost!
Oorlam's locally world-renowned pub quiz is back, hosted as always by Philipp. Gather your team, put your heads together, and battle it out over rounds of trivia — with the bar's full line-up of craft beer and jenever to keep you sharp (or not).
This edition the prizes are sponsored by Two Chefs Brewing, so there's proper craft beer on the line for the winning team. No sign-up needed: first come, first in — seats fill up fast, so get here early to claim your table. Whether you're playing to win or just in it for the laughs, it's one of the best nights of the week.
